To all participants on the 20th International Symposium on Applications of Laser and Imaging Techniques to Fluid Mechanics
We live every day hoping for a better future where we move forward with the lessons learn from these pandemic times and find the opportunity to be together again to share our ideas, research, and innovations. In this 20th edition of the International Symposium on the Application of Laser and Imaging Techniques to Fluid Mechanics to 11-14 July 2022, it is right time to return to get together again.
Over 240 attendants from 24 countries gave their time and resources to contribute to our program and the expectations after the hiatus two years ago are high.
The Lisbon Laser Symposium became synonymous with developments in experimental fluid mechanics and an excellent atmosphere in which young researchers meet and interact with leading figures in the field, offering an international forum where innovations in measurement techniques for fluid mechanics are presented and discussed.
Previous symposia’s open-access proceedings represent one of the most definitive literature collections on cutting-edge research in measurement technologies applied to fluid mechanics. The keynote lectures, the manufacturers’ exhibition, and the enchanting social events make the trip to Lisbon worthwhile for researchers at all career levels and from countries worldwide.
